Research programme
About SIF
The Structural Invariant Framework (SIF) is a research programme that studies bounded structural verification and assurance against an explicitly governed specification.
Research context
From metrology to structural verification
The programme grew from metrology research into preserving technical structures through transformation. It progressed through structural diagnostics to SIF 2.0 and SIF Inspector, which examines selected structural properties in a produced or transformed result under a declared, versioned scope.
SIF Governance is a separate governing-state assurance research direction. Output structural verification asks whether a result preserves the activated checks; governing-state assurance asks whether what currently governs still has sufficient support.
Scope and limitations
Bounded research claims
Reported results apply to their declared evidence, configurations, versions and activated checks. They do not establish overall translation quality, specification completeness, certification, production readiness, universal transfer or institutional endorsement.
